Do I need a permit to fly a sub-250g drone?
Under Decree 36/2008/ND-CP, all unmanned aircraft in Vietnam require flight permission before takeoff, regardless of weight. Management of ultra-light drones is loosening in some non-restricted areas, but you should comply to avoid legal issues.
How to handle when the drone loses GPS?
When GPS is lost, the drone switches to ATTI (holds altitude but drifts with wind). Stay calm, avoid aggressive throttle, watch wind direction, and land safely at the nearest spot or fly visually (VLOS) to bring it back.
How long is official warranty at IDTFlying?
We offer 12 months official warranty for airframes and controllers. Batteries are covered for 6 months or under 200 charge cycles (whichever comes first).
